Today Ann, Isaac, Bill, Shanna, and I went to a game reserve about 30 minutes outside of Johannesburg. We saw some warthogs, rhinos, wildebeests, odd looking birds, and many kinds of gazelles/deer. Then we came upon a small pride of lions. They were relaxing in the short grass just 20 feet away. One of the younger males lions came over to our minivan and started sniffing at the car. We even got some great photos of Isaac staring into the lion's face.
